Surfshark Antivirus is a security application published by Surfshark. Surfshark is not connected to this publisher in any way beyond the referral arrangement described above, and this site is not operated by, endorsed by or authorised by Surfshark.

• Linux support generally means on-demand and scheduled scanning, most useful on a machine that stores or serves files to others.
• Android allows scanning of installed applications and shared storage, but not of other applications' private data.

Where it sits in the category

One further piece of context belongs here, because it is the question a reader arriving at a product page is usually trying to answer: what would this add to the device in front of them?

That answer depends far more on the device than on the product. On a Windows machine, any third-party engine replaces real-time scanning that Microsoft Defender Antivirus is already performing, so the question is what a different engine, update cadence and set of bundled components are worth to that household. On an iPhone, no engine is running or can run, so the question is whether web filtering and breach alerts are worth paying for separately.
